Caring for your elevator footwear

Worth doingSkip this
Brush road dust and dry dirt off leather uppers regularly.Do not submerge leather shoes in water or soak them during cleaning.
Apply leather conditioner to smooth leather to prevent drying and cracking.Do not place damp footwear directly on hot radiators or heating vents.
Let wet shoes dry slowly at room temperature away from heaters.Do not force your heel down into the counter without a horn.
Use a shoe horn to protect the structural heel counter during entry.Do not crush shoe uppers under heavy piles on closet floors.

Why we build the lift inside

Standard shoes sit flat, but our elevator shoes split their lift between the internal midsole and a cushioned footbed. We print the exact measurement on the page because height gain is a physical specification, not a vague promise. Our uppers are lasted to hold that lift cleanly without distorting the outside line.

Internal stacks and measured lift footwear

We construct our men's elevator shoes by building the lift directly into the interior architecture of the footwear. Part of the rise rests in the hidden midsole cavity, while the rest sits in a structured insole layer. This geometry prevents the bulky exterior profile typical of platform footwear and keeps the outer silhouette looking like a standard men's dress shoe, boot, or sneaker.

Finding the right pair starts with settling on your target height gain in inches. Once you decide how much lift you want, browse the shelf that matches your setting, from leather oxfords to casual high-tops. For footwear you already own, our drop-in insoles provide a modular lift stack that slips directly under your heel.

Starting with your first pair

If this is your first elevator shoe, begin with a 2.8 inch build on a sneaker or lace-up boot last. This height gain offers our most common balance between internal volume, heel support, and everyday comfort.

Notes from our wearers

These are definitely not long-distance walking shoes for sure, and I do not recommend running in them. With that being said, it only made me around 2.5 inches taller. I am 5'8 and a half and a weak 5'11 in these shoes. I was expecting a nearly 6 foot but I bought a pair of 0.5-inch lifts and now I'm roughly 6 foot while wearing these.

They give you the little extra boost in height which is nice. These are sweet and smooth looking shoes. Versatile with casual or formal clothes. Nice snug fit, but you should wear the thinner dress socks with these shoes. Incredibly, they make walking up-hill easier. It will take a little getting used to, but it is worth it.
multitudeBlack/Black Sole Ultra Light-Weight Slip-on Knitted Business Dressy
I tried it on for the first time and the shoe is overall comfortable to wear and fits well after tightening the shoelaces. I am able to jog and run up stairs without any issues however the shoe does not provide any lateral support. The design is plain and simple which is exactly how I like it.
Berwin T.Grey Super Lightweight Sporty Sneakers
I'm 6ft 4in and this easily makes me closer to 6ft 7in. I already loved being tall but this makes me even taller which is more awesome! By the way it is surprisingly comfortable. It's made of good quality material I'm just confused what the inserts are for cuz they don't really cushion it that well.
David RosenblattBlack Premium Leather Lace-up Cap-Toe Dress Casual Boots
Size, fit and quality are good. Not super comfortable, but not horrible either... I'd say they cost more than I would have loved. I love the style of these, kind of look like a cowboy boot & I like that people would just assume I'm taller because I have a "cowboy" boot on, not lift shoes.

These are lifted men’s shoes but they don’t physically look lifted. You can feel the lift when wearing them and does take a few times to get used to but look very good! They do add height but not an abnormal amount that it’s obvious. Also get your correct she size and the fit perfectly.
