How much height do CALTO shoes add?
Built shoes run from 2 to 3.6 inches of measured gain, with the deepest shelf at 2.8 inches. Drop-in insoles for footwear you already own run from 0.5 to 1.8 inches. Every product page prints its exact figure.
Can other people tell the lift is there?
The stack sits inside the shoe, split between the midsole and the footbed, so the outer heel stays at ordinary height. In the 604 wearer reviews we read, 28 people specifically wrote that nobody around them noticed, and none wrote the opposite.
Should I order my usual size?
Among reviewers who commented on sizing, 55 said to go a half or full size up, 37 found their usual size right, and 20 sized down. If you are between sizes or wear wide fits, take the larger size. Our lasts run standard D medium.
What sizes exist?
Published runs cover US men’s 6 through 13. Each product page lists the sizes its listing currently shows.
How long does it take to get used to the incline?
Most reviewers describe the first day or two as unfamiliar and the end of the first week as normal. Rotating the shoes in a few hours at a time smooths the curve.
Where does my order actually happen?
The price button on a product page leads to our retail partner’s listing. Cart, payment, delivery and returns all run on the partner’s side under the partner’s terms; this site is the catalogue and spec book.
Why does the price on the listing differ from the one on your page?
The partner adjusts prices continuously and we refresh ours periodically, so short gaps happen. The listing price at the moment you order is the one that counts.
Do the insoles work in any shoe?
Best hosts are high-top sneakers and lace-up boots, where the collar hides the heel rise. Low-cut loafers only take the smallest inserts. The drop-in insoles note covers this in detail.
