About this build

We built this sporty lace-up on a standard D-width last using a breathable knit upper and lining. The internal lift adds 2.4 inches while keeping the outer profile low with a 1 inch visible heel. At roughly 12 ounces for a sample size, it stays light on the foot through all-day wear.

Internal lift build

The hidden riser and midsole stack add 2.4 inches of height inside the shoe. From the outside, the visible back heel measures 1 inch, keeping the silhouette proportioned like an ordinary low-top sporty sneaker.

Breathable knit upper

We shape the upper and lining from flexible woven knit in moon gray and black. The material lets air move freely around the foot, flexing easily at the vamp with every stride without stiff pinch points.

Lightweight rubberized sole

The synthetic rubberized outsole uses cement construction for durable bonding and low carry weight. Deep flex grooves across the tread help the sole roll naturally from heel strike through toe-off.

Lace closure and fit

A traditional lace-up closure secures the knit collar around the ankle, which measures 4 1/2 inches from the base of the sole. The cut accommodates standard medium widths.
