About this build

We built this pair around an airy black mesh upper and an internal lift that adds 2.6 inches. The visible outer heel measures 1 1/2 inches, keeping the external profile low while the internal stack handles the rise. A soft cloth lining covers the interior for cool daily wear.

Internal lift structure

The hidden wedge sits inside the heel cup to provide a 2.6 inch total increase. Combined with a 5 1/2 inch total shaft height, the collar sits naturally around the ankle without crowding the foot.

Breathable mesh upper

We constructed the black upper from open-weave athletic mesh lined with smooth cloth. The lightweight textiles flex readily with each step, allowing heat to escape during long hours on your feet.

Lightweight rubberized outsole

A white rubberized sole is attached using cement construction, keeping the complete shoe down to 14 ounces in a standard men's size 7.5. The tread pattern grips pavement while remaining light.

Standard width fit

Built on our standard medium D last, this lace-up runner accommodates regular width feet with room through the toe box. The traditional lace closure lets you adjust tension across the instep.
