About this build

We build this brown high-top chukka with soft nubuck leather over our round-toe last. The construction uses Goodyear welt stitching and double-stitched stress points for a durable, rebuildable hold. Inside, an integrated midsole lift adds 3 inches while keeping the external silhouette balanced.

Internal lift structure

The concealed riser inside the boot adds 3 inches of height. We seat the lift along the footbed so your heel rests firmly without shifting the exterior lines of the ankle shaft.

Goodyear welt build

We stitch the upper and insole directly to the welt before attaching the outsole. This traditional method allows resoling over time and keeps the chassis solid through regular wear.

Nubuck leather upper

Soft khaki tan nubuck wraps the foot with a smooth, brushed nap. Double row stitching reinforces the eyelet facings and side quarters where daily lace tension pulls hardest.

Shaft and profile

The 5 3/4 inch shaft rises just past the ankle with a standard lace-up closure. A 1 inch outer heel completes the lower profile, balancing the hidden interior lift.
