About this build

We build this ankle boot on a standard D-width last using dark brown oxhide and Goodyear welt construction. The inner lift adds 2.8 inches inside a 6 1/2 inch shaft, balanced by a 1 1/4 inch outer heel. A side zipper allows fast entry without disturbing the cap toe lines.

Internal lift stack

The layered build adds 2.8 inches of height inside the boot. It sits under the footbed, sloping gently toward the cap toe so the foot rests firmly without crowding the vamp.

Oxhide upper construction

Genuine dark brown oxhide forms the exterior, assembled with Goodyear welt stitching for long-term wear. The cap toe maintains its clean shape while the leather softens and creases naturally across the instep.

Side zip closure

A full-length side zipper runs down the inner shaft for easy on and off. The cloth lining underneath prevents friction against socks and keeps the interior clean through repeated wear.

Rubberized bottom
