About this build

We built this lace-up cap-toe derby boot for cold weather, cutting the upper from genuine oxhide leather in brogue dark brown. The 6 inch shaft rises over the ankle, lined throughout with soft faux fur. Inside, our hidden lift system adds 3.2 inches of height above a durable crepe rubber outsole.

Internal lift build

The integrated riser adds 3.2 inches of height within the boot. It rests on a standard D-width last, pairing the interior lift with an external 1 1/4 inch heel for a balanced stance.

Oxhide upper construction

We stitch the upper from durable genuine oxhide leather with a classic cap toe. Goodyear welt construction fastens the leather firmly to the base, creating a solid boundary against cold pavement.

Faux fur lining

Soft faux fur lines the entire interior from collar to toe box. It retains warmth around the foot during cold months without crowding your regular sock choice.

Crepe rubber bottom

The rubberized crepe outsole provides dependable traction on slick sidewalks. At roughly 21 ounces per boot in size 7.5, it gives substantial ground feel through long hours outside.
