About this build

We build this slip-on Chelsea on an eight-inch shaft using brown oxhide leather with a woven vamp. The internal riser adds 3.3 inches of height without changing the classic ankle boot profile. Inside, a soft leather lining covers the full interior down to the footbed.

Internal lift structure

A hidden riser sits beneath the heel and midsole to provide a 3.3 inch total lift. The exterior shows a standard two inch heel block, keeping the elevation contained entirely within the boot walls.

Woven oxhide leather

We craft the upper from genuine oxhide leather featuring a woven front panel and a semi-round pointy toe. The material softens as you wear it, shaping naturally around your instep and ankle.

Goodyear welt build

Stitched directly to a composite rubber bottom, the Goodyear welt construction provides long-term durability and allows for future resoling. The rubber tread maintains grip across hard interior floors and smooth pavements.

Elastic side gores

Flexible twin elastic panels allow this lace-less boot to pull on and off with ease. They hold the eight-inch shaft close to the lower calf without binding as you step.
