About this build

We build this lace-up cap-toe boot on a standard D-width last using brown pebbled oxhide leather. The internal stack adds 2.8 inches of height beneath the heel, concealed by the 5 3/4 inch shaft. A 1 inch outer heel balances the profile. Inside, a soft faux fur lining holds warmth through cold mornings on the street.

Internal lift structure

Our layered midsole and wedge add 2.8 inches of height without changing the exterior lines. The 5 3/4 inch shaft encloses the heel counter fully, keeping the foot seated over the internal rise.

Pebbled oxhide upper

We cut the upper from brown oxhide with a fine pebble grain that resists scuffs and softens with wear. A stitched cap toe reinforces the front, while heavy laces run through metal eyelets down to the vamp.

Faux fur lining

Soft faux fur lines the full interior from collar to toe box. It traps warmth in cold conditions and pads the ankle against the leather collar, while the footbed supports the heel over long hours.

Goodyear welted sole

We secure the composite rubberized outsole using durable Goodyear welt construction. The rubber compound grips cold pavement firmly, while the welted perimeter allows for eventual recrafting as the tread wears down over seasons of use.
