About this build

We build this lightweight hybrid on a 5 inch shaft using soft black nubuck suede. The hidden internal lift adds 2.8 inches, supported by an outer heel of 1 1/4 inches. Inside, full leather lines the footbed and quarters for smooth all day wear on a flexible rubberized bottom.

Nubuck suede upper

We select fine black nubuck suede for a soft, matte finish across the vamp and quarters. The material flexes easily through the step while holding its shape around the mid-cut collar.

Integrated 2.8 inch build

The internal lift is layered directly into the footbed beneath the leather lining. Together with the 1 1/4 inch outer heel, the entire construction adds 2.8 inches without altering the sporty silhouette.

Lightweight rubberized sole

Cement construction bonds the upper directly to a flexible rubberized sole. Weighing roughly 13 ounces per shoe in size 7.5, the underfoot rubber grips firmly without dragging heavy on the foot.

Full leather interior

Smooth leather lines the entire interior to reduce friction during movement. The collar wraps the ankle at a 5 inch shaft height, keeping the heel seated firmly against the internal riser.
