About this build

Matte black nubuck shapes this plain-toe boot over a five and three-quarter inch shaft. We build the full 3 inch lift into the interior, seated above a Goodyear welted sole with a one and one-quarter inch outer heel. A side zipper lets you clear the collar without undoing the laces.

Internal 3 inch lift

The full 3 inch rise rests inside the mid-top shaft. We taper the layered lift from heel to midfoot so your heel sits seated against the counter, while the exterior heel measures one and one-quarter inches.

Nubuck leather upper

Soft genuine nubuck gives the upper a fine nap and a matte black finish. We line the interior in smooth leather to ease friction against your socks and help the plain-toe vamp break in cleanly.

Goodyear welt build

We stitch the upper to the rubberized bottom using traditional Goodyear welt construction. This gives the base a durable bond and steady footing on hard pavement through long stretches of walking.

Zipper and pull tab

A full-length side zipper runs along the inner ankle, paired with a rear pull tab. You can leave the front laces tied to your preferred fit and step in or out quickly.
