About this build

We knit the upper of this black high top as a continuous sock that pulls straight on. The internal build adds 3.2 inches of height through an integrated lift stack and the thick outer heel. A soft leather lining protects the knit interior and keeps the foot seated.

Internal lift stack

The interior construction provides 3.2 inches of total height increase. A 1 1/2 inch outer heel integrates directly with our internal riser so the profile stays proportioned along the six and a quarter inch shaft.

Knitted high top upper

We weave the black upper in a flexible, sock-like knit that hugs the ankle. The slip on collar stretches for entry and pulls back against the foot without requiring traditional lace tension.

Leather lined interior

We line the inside with smooth leather over our standard D width last. The lining helps the shoe hold its shape over time and prevents friction against the knit walls during all-day wear.

Synthetic rubberized sole

The outsole uses a cement construction to join the thick rubberized bottom directly to the upper. At roughly thirteen ounces per shoe in a size 7.5 US, the sole keeps the overall package light.
