About this build

A matte black leather upper sits over an internal build that adds 2.6 inches of height. We use micro-perforated panels along the vamp and sides to keep the shoe light on foot. The all-black rubber sole keeps a clean, low profile. It laces up close for steady daily wear.

Internal 2.6 inch lift

We build the 2.6 inch lift into the internal footbed and heel cup. The outer visible heel measures 1 1/2 inches, while the full shaft rises 5 inches to enclose the foot securely.

Micro-perforated leather

We cut the upper from black leather with micro-perforations through the body. The leather breaks in softly across the forefoot, and a cloth lining allows airflow during long walks.

Synthetic rubber outsole

A molded synthetic rubber outsole provides flat traction against the pavement. The black compound matches the upper for a uniform line from collar to tread.

Lightweight cement build

We assemble the pair using cement construction to keep the weight down to 12 ounces in size 7.5. Standard D-width sizing fits true along our casual men's last.
