About this build

We build this mid-top sneaker around a hidden lift system that adds 2.8 inches of height. The black knit upper pairs with a tonal black rubberized outsole. Cemented construction keeps the build light, weighing 13 ounces in a men's size 7.5. It sits on a standard D width last.

Internal lift stack

The concealed elevator footbed sits inside the heel cup to add 2.8 inches. It works with a 1 1/2 inch exterior heel and a 5 inch shaft height, keeping the shoe profile proportioned from collar to toe.

Knit upper and lining

We use a lightweight knit throughout the upper and the inner lining. The material allows air to pass through while hugging the foot closely, maintaining flexibility across the vamp during long hours on concrete.

Rubberized outsole

The bottom unit uses durable rubberized material cemented directly to the upper. It grips city pavement firmly and cushions footfalls without adding unnecessary bulk or dragging down the 13 ounce total build weight.

Mid-top fit

Shaped on our standard D width men's last, the collar wraps the ankle securely with a lace-up closure. The mid-top cut provides enough interior depth to seat the heel lift naturally without slippage.

I measured myself at home and it adds 2.5 inches of height vs the 2.8 advertised but it's perfect if you want to be almost 3 inches taller. The fit is great but any height boost that's more than 3 inches is pretty noticeable to most people unless your natural standing height is really tall already like 6'5''+. A 2-2.5 in height boost is the sweet spot if you want that extra height to be hidden without it becoming noticeable.

Nice-looking elevator sneakers, just had a sizing mix-up

I had a sizing issue with mine and received a size 9 instead of the size 12 I expected, so I couldn’t personally judge the long-wear comfort or fit the way I normally would. That said, the shoes themselves look really nice in person, and my partner was able to wear them and give me feedback on how they felt.
