About this build

We built this closed toe fisherman sandal for warm weather wear on our standard medium last. The interior concealed lift and 1 inch outer heel combine for 2.8 inches of added height. Black pebble grain leather straps keep the foot secure with an integrated elastic section across the instep.

Pebble grain upper

We use black pebble grain leather across the caged front and heel counter. The hide bends easily across the forefoot, while a smooth leather inner lining sits soft against bare skin without hot spots.

Concealed lift structure

The internal rise sits completely inside the footbed, pairing with the low outer heel to deliver 2.8 inches of elevation. From the exterior, the profile reads as a classic warm-weather fisherman sandal.

Elastic strap closure

An elastic panel built into the instep strap stretches as you walk and makes sliding the sandal on and off quick. It holds the foot firmly back against the raised heel cup throughout the day.

Gum rubber outsole

A lightweight gum bottom keeps each sandal around 16 ounces in a US size 7.5. We use Goodyear welt construction to bind the outsole securely to the upper for dependable long-term wear.
