About this build

We build this formal derby with a genuine oxhide patent leather upper in deep coffee brown. The internal lift system adds 3.4 inches of height above a 1 1/4 inch outer heel, balanced inside a 6 inch shaft height. Leather lining and a sturdy rubberized bottom finish the construction.

Patent oxhide upper

The exterior uses high-shine oxhide leather in a rich coffee tone. We pattern it as a clean puff-toe derby, suitable for black-tie gatherings and formal suiting that call for a polished coat.

Internal lift build

Inside the shoe, our integrated elevator stack adds 3.4 inches of total height. The construction positions the incline securely between the padded footbed and the welted outsole so the external profile retains standard proportions.

Goodyear welted base

We assemble this pair with traditional Goodyear welt construction, securing the upper to a rubberized bottom sole. The outer back heel measures 1 1/4 inches, providing reliable footing on slick event floors.
