About this build

We build this low-top sneaker on a standard D-width last with an internal lift that adds 2.6 inches. The upper pairs black and white oxhide panels over a full leather lining. Underneath, a white midsole meets a gum rubber outsole for daily pavement grip. The outer heel profile measures 1 inch.

Internal lift structure

The concealed riser sits inside the rear quarter to add 2.6 inches of height. We grade the pitch across the footbed so the heel rests securely against the counter while keeping the outer silhouette low.

Oxhide upper construction

We cut the black and white panels from oxhide leather, joined with reinforced stitching along the eye row and heel counter. Inside, smooth leather lines the entire interior to reduce friction during regular walking.

Cemented gum outsole

A rubberized gum outsole with a light tread pattern is bonded directly to the upper. It cushions footfall across hard ground and provides steady traction without adding excess bulk to the profile.

Fit and lace closure

Tied through standard eyelets, the flat laces let you adjust tension across the instep. The padded collar hugs the ankle, and the standard D width fits true to size for daily wear.
