About this build

We build this classic penny loafer in soft black oxhide with a textured pebble grain. The interior hides a 2.4 inch lift, while the outer heel measures a modest 1/2 inch from the back. A full leather lining and a slip-on design keep the fit clean on our standard medium width last.

Pebble oxhide upper

We select soft black oxhide with a raised pebble-grain finish for the upper. The moc-toe stitching frames the vamp, while the penny strap sits flat across the instep without laces or hardware.

Hidden 2.4 inch lift

The interior elevation adds 2.4 inches to the wearer height without bulging out the exterior lines. We pair that rise with a 4 1/2 inch total shaft height and a low 1/2 inch outer heel.

Leather lined interior
