About this build

Black oxhide leather wraps the upper of this low-top oxford, punctuated by medallion perforation at the toe. We set the internal lift system inside a 4 1/2 inch shaft, pairing it with an outer heel of 1 1/8 inches to add 2.4 inches overall. It laces closed over a leather lining.

Internal lift structure

The multi-component rise adds 2.4 inches from inside the shoe. By combining the internal wedge with an outer heel measuring 1 1/8 inches, the exterior line remains balanced and low.

Semi whole-cut oxhide

We build the upper from genuine black oxhide with clean side panels and traditional medallion punchwork across the toe. The leather takes a high shine with standard wax and softens with regular wear.

Full leather lining

A smooth leather lining covers the footbed and interior walls, managing interior friction throughout the day. We cement the entire upper down to a resilient rubberized bottom for steady contact on smooth floors.

Proportions and fit

Shaped on our standard D-width last, this pair weighs 19 ounces based on a men's size 7.5. The 4 1/2 inch shaft secures the heel pocket firmly around the foot when laced.
