About this build

Black distressed oxhide gives this high-top ankle boot a broken-in texture from the first wear. Inside the 7 1/4 inch shaft, we seat a full riser system that adds 3.3 inches to your height while keeping an ordinary profile. A stitched Goodyear welt anchors the upper to a composite rubberized sole.

Distressed oxhide upper

We craft the round-toe upper from tough black oxhide finished with a distressed nap. A rear pull tab and lace-up closure let you cinch the seven-inch shaft firmly around the ankle.

Internal 3.3 inch rise

The build adds 3.3 inches using a concealed internal lift combined with a 1 1/4 inch outer heel. The elevation remains entirely inside the boot structure.

Goodyear welt build

We stitch the upper and insole to a durable welt before attaching the composite rubberized sole. This traditional bench method yields a solid build that handles rough ground well.

Leather lined interior

Smooth leather lines the entire interior of the boot to reduce friction against your socks. The standard D-width last accommodates regular foot shapes through full days of wear.
