About this build

We build this cold-weather Derby boot from black oxhide leather with fine micro-perforations across the panels. Inside, a soft faux fur lining warms the foot while our layered lift system adds 3.2 inches of height. The 6 inch shaft rises over the ankle, secured with a traditional lace closure and grounded on a rubberized crepe sole.

Internal lift build

The interior midsole and heel wedge add 3.2 inches of height inside the boot. From the outside, the profile reads as a standard lace-up Derby with an exterior heel measuring 1 1/4 inches.

Oxhide leather upper

We craft the upper from genuine oxhide finished in micro-perforated black with a clean cap toe. The hide breaks in naturally across the vamp while holding its structure around the ankle.

Faux fur lining

Soft faux fur lines the entire interior from collar to toe box. It traps warmth during colder days and cushions the foot against the firm inner heel counter.

Crepe rubber outsole

A textured crepe rubberized sole is attached using Goodyear welt construction. It provides dependable ground contact, flexibility through the stride, and extended durability across wet pavement.
