About this build
These green drop-in inserts rest underfoot inside shoes you already own. We cast the full-length footbed from expanded thermoplastic polyurethane beads that rebound under footfalls. The thicker heel profile takes up internal volume, making high tops and work boots the natural home for this insert.
Expanded bead construction
Molded from fused E-TPU popcorn beads, the green footbed flexes across the forefoot and rebounds through the stride. The open cellular structure keeps the base light on foot without flattening out under regular weight.
High shaft pairing
The heel taper occupies noticeable internal depth inside the shoe. Pair these with deep-quarter footwear, work boots, or padded high top sneakers so the heel counter continues to grip the back of your foot properly.
Gradual break in
Shifting your heel upward changes how weight distributes across the ball of the foot. We recommend wearing the inserts for short periods across the first few days while the foot adjusts to the altered resting incline.
Footbed dimensions
We shape the full length to trim cleanly into standard men's boots and sneakers. Slip the green inserts directly over the existing footbed, or remove the factory lining to gain extra room through the toe box.
What wearers say
Helps my back but difficult to wear in sneakers
I got these insert to provide extra cushion in my shoes for my back due to compression in the lower back and pain from knee injuries. The TPU material adds shock absorbing and padding when walking and standing that helps with the back pain, but lifts the heal a little bit too much for my sneakers. The back of my heals are lifted so they don't sit in the cupped portion of the back of the shoes.
